On October 22, 2015, the ITSA will be travelling to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to tour The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center's (UPMC) data center! Lunch and transportation will be provided. This is a great opportunity to see cutting edge IT solutions operating to support an important organization. You'll learn about medical and health record application hosting, software defined networking, virtualization, supporting a data center, and what makes an optimal data center environment. You will also interact with professionals in the IT field at an organization with a great internship program!
